GOA TRASH; RIVER PRINCESS

An site specific art project between Candolim and Calangute in Goa, India. My first confrontation with GOA beach was a shipwreck lying in front of the beach. The effects of the globalism in India I thought. Shipwracks being transported to India, because it is thecheapest country to get rid of the wrecks. After asking some questions, this shipwrack has been there for over the past 6 years. The owner had paid the cost to remove the ship, but the money was gone...and nothing happened. The strange view of sitting on the beach and looking at the impacts of civilasation is also a form of tourism. We want nice beautiful beaches, otherwise we do't come. But this is the reality.
