Inspired by Paul Mc Carthy
Some video’s I made were inspired bij the video’s of Paul McCarthy. Especially the first one I ever saw “The Painter”. It’s already a long time ago, but they are still great and part of my work. I gladly like to show them to you. Part I and Part II. I saw this video the first time in Haarlem, in the Hallen in the Netherlands. I was astonished and made a great impression on me. It was kind emotion, humor that was really attractive. Also the critic about “de Kooning” and the art world itself as well the many layers in work. Trash, consumerism, critic and recognition are the working parts that inspired me to make the videos.
